Who it is for

It is for private galleries, home collections, and a room that is being hung as a set. It is not a framing service and it is not art transport.

How the work varies

Salon hang

Works of different sizes composed so the group has one outer edge and even breathing room.

Centre-line hang

A single shared height for a run of similar frames.

Unframed works

Panels and works on paper in mounts, handled flat and fixed only where the edge allows.

Included, and what we do not do

• A layout agreed before holes
• Consistent height across the run
• Hardware per piece
• A last walk for level and spacing

• We do not write condition reports for insurers.
• We do not light the gallery unless a separate mounting visit has been quoted.
• We do not install loans that need a courier present unless that person is on site.

The visit

1. Lay the sequence out
2. Mark the shared line
3. Fix from the key piece outward
4. Adjust gaps before the last screws are tight

How the quote is built

Gallery hangs are quoted by the number of works, the mix of weights, and whether the layout is already decided. An open-ended “see how it looks” session is priced as time plus fixings.

• Count of works
• Mix of heavy and light pieces
• Whether labels or a centre line are required
• Access outside public opening hours

When people book, and how to prepare

People book when a new acquisition breaks an existing line, a salon wall has crept out of level, or a private view needs the hang finished in one session.

Have the order of works decided, or allow time in the quote for us to plan it with you. Keep traffic out of the wall while we mark.

Do not slide frames along the wall to “even them up” after we leave. A moved frame needs its fixing checked.
