Questions that are not on a service page

Service pages cover the hang itself. These answers are about price, insurance, email, and coverage.

Do you sell or frame the artwork?

No. We install pieces you already have. Framing, glazing, and conservation are outside this service.

How is the price set?

From the piece, the wall, and access. A single frame, a gallery wall, and a heavy mirror are different quotes. Send those details on the form. You do not need to phone.

Which walls will you not drill?

Any wall you tell us to leave alone, and any wall that cannot hold the weight. If plasterboard is too weak for the piece, we stop before the hole.

How soon can you come?

Planned visits are the default. A same-day hang is only for a straightforward job that is still free in the diary, and it is still quoted.

What insurance is on the visit?

Public liability covers the installation visit. We do not insure your artwork as a gallery or a shipper.

Are you a Fine Art Trade Guild member?

We do not display a membership. Heavy frames are not left on unsafe cord or wire, which is the problem described in the Guild’s published note FRM-399.

What happens to my email if I leave a review?

It is stored with the review so we can check the submission. It is not shown on the reviews page.

What if my town is not on the areas page?

Open the areas page and look under your county. If your town is not named, send the postcode with the quote and we will say if we can come.
